The upgrade enhances text and code processing capabilities while reducing hallucinations, yet lacks advanced reasoning or vision features that could compete with DeepMind's 1M-token Gemini model.

Technical hurdles have constrained progress. API issues delayed beta testing, limiting initial access to just 20 Discord users. Despite a $3.3 billion valuation and heavyweight investors, Moonshot continues to lag behind global leaders in critical AI functionalities.
